The Soccer Foundation was created in 1991, as a showcase to recognize the best soccer-playing high school seniors from all over Wisconsin in two premiere All-Star Soccer games (one boys game and one girls game), the proceeds and related of which are to benefit the Special Olympics and Shriner’s Hospital for Children. The Annual Wisconsin Masonic All-Star Soccer Games attract players and spectators from 175 high schools and are conducted in cooperation with and sanctioned by the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association. The result is an annual event that attracts up to 400 spectators, and provides a host of activities to those who take part.

We need your help

The Masonic Soccer Foundation has been holding its annual All-Star Soccer Game for more than ten years. The game is a large undertaking, and there are significant costs that go hand-in-hand with the game’s success. Each year the Foundation must secure game and practice facilities, player and coach lodging during camp, uniforms, equipment, transportation and publicity. This is only possible however, with the help of generous donors , who support the Foundation’s mission.

One recent student participant had this to say about her experience in the All-Star Games:

"Sometimes in life we are given so much we forget to appreciate everything we've received. After going to the Children's Hospital I think we realized just how much we sometimes take for granted. The kids in this hospital had problems that were devastating to us, but their courage and spirit was evident, and they were grateful for everything they were given. If there is anything we have to say about our visit, it is thank you…Thank you to the Masons and Shriners for giving us this opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. For putting us in a positive atmosphere and treating us like "all stars." So many times when you read the newspaper or watch the 6 o'clock report, it seems like all they focus on are the negative things teens do. So much money is spent on punishment and prevention, that sometimes we feel like the good kids are forgotten. Thanks for believing in us, and for recognizing our accomplishments."

Participating in the All-Star Soccer Game is a positive personal experience for young people, that needs to continue. Please consider a gift that will ensure many games to come.

"Thank you"

Dear Mrs. Storrs,

I just wanted to make sure you received my application as an alternate in the Wisconsin Masonic Soccer game this coming summer. I mailed it to you in the beginning of February. I was very excited to be selected. I am hoping that I am able to play in the All Star Game. May God bless this foundation and its efforts.
